Jetstream: Aston Martin DB MkIII Painted

The capable guys at Jetstream locked down a color for the Aston and put an impeccable finish on the entire body. I imagine assembly of the dashboard is next on the list. The color is Warwick Blue.

Federal XJ6C: Completely Stripped

Progress is coming along nicely on the XJ6C. The engine, front subframe and rear subframe are out, with the dashboard left in.

New floor pans were welded in by Jetstream Custom Auto then the whole outside of the body was media blasted with the dashboard wrapped up. Now that I look at it, maybe the new floors could have been blasted too. Not long after this shot, the entire car was covered in primer.

Jetstream: Aston Martin DB MkIII

Over at Jetstream Custom Auto they are completing this Aston Martin DB MkIII which is one of Victoria’s best local cars. The project stalled and was picked up recently by Jetstream for completion and final fit. In fact, this car has been apart for a long time and will finally be on the road after over 20 years. The chassis, number AM/300/3/1439, was delivered as-is and nearly running.

Wolseley 6/99: Original & Nasty :)

We just picked up this 1961 Wolseley 6/99 for parts. The running gear is similar to the Austin Healey 3.0-litre unit and the transmission was upgraded to a top-shift 4-speed manual. The base model is an Austin A99 Westminster with upgraded trim.

Unfortunately, time has taken its toll and the poor Wolseley isn’t worth our time to restore.  If you know of a good home, or need some parts please let us know. UPDATE CAR IS SOLD.
